Groundfishing has heated up over the past two weeks on the inside humps. We are finding legal haddock on the high ground in 210 - 240 feet.

The Start of September is here, and the fall run is just beginning. The September New Moon has brought in an impressive amount of small bait in the river, and out front on the beaches and the Striped Bass are all over it..
Teazer Report
We are marking tuna on the high ground and saw a few crashing giants this past week. We dragged a squid rig in the prop wash for a few miles the other day, but no love.

This year I upgraded to a 28' Crowley Beal, which is a downeast style (lobster) boat. It's much more comfortable than my old boat, and I'm finally getting used to it.
