August 30th Fishing Report

Seasonal weather has returned! This week should be a great first week of September to start fishing off the Beach and inlets.  south winds have advanced warmer waters to continue to keep the fishing active.  After the high tide , Fishing Bait from shore on a clear sandy bottom will get you a few schoolie stripers with the occasional keeper.  Biddeford pool mile stretch area has has some structure change on the shore line giving you some great areas to fish..

A customer came in this morning with a quick report saying he was throwing small crippled herring lures in the white wash off the rocks.  a few lures were also bite off giving some hopes of bluefish making a brief appearance.   Dark Purple sp minnow with a slow retrieval oafter sunset was working well for Zach at Ferry Beach.  Mackerel have been back but squid have been offshore keeping bait scattered.  Hopefully we will have a busy September.  Keep the pics coming in! We need to start filling our shop with newer pictures of ofour new and seasoned customers.

Thank you again for all your support

Peter
